Puppy cuteness EVERY visit!
Saturday was the 4th of July! We watched fireworks at Auditorium Shores and enjoyed a symphony performance before!
100,000 strong
We were lucky to snag the PERFECT spot to watch and it was so beautiful. I just love fireworks and these were too notch.
Waiting for our 'lyft' to pick us up! It was our first time using it and it was EASY PEASY!
Sunday we took the pups back for another swim.. It's quickly becoming a daily outing!
In the evening we watched the Women's World Cup finale.. USA won of course.. Woo hoo!
We watched at this cute little bar that's in walking distance from our house

Monday began our 4th week in Austin!
And what's a better way to start the week than with a cute pic of all my boys?!
We headed to a new place called the greenbelt

Milo is making HUGE progress towards being a water dog like his brother!

After walking further down the river, we found a good spot for us to get in and of course brucey had to swim too!
I didn't get any pictures because we were all in the water, but milo actually swam for the first time! Twice!! Once was for sure on purpose! =]
After we were done swimming we thought we could find an exit down where we had hiked.. So we kept going.. And going.. And going..

After what felt like hours (ok maybe an hour), we found an exit.. But we were still a very hilly mile away from our car! Mind you this was after a very intense morning cross fit class and my legs were dead!!
After dropping the pups off at home and driving 20 minutes to a restaurant that we did NOT in face have a groupon for.. We opted for a delicious pizza next to our house ($6.99 Monday special- deal!)
Tuesday we didn't do too much except our daily auditorium shores trip of course... Mr. Milo was still pretty exhausted from the day before!
Wednesday we headed back to the green belt, but decided to explore a different area.
Milo had to actually swim while crossing the water!! He was a little freaked and tried to jump before giving up and swimming!

This area got crowded pretty quickly so we didn't stay long!
Brucey boy was tired out and silent all the way home! Woo hoo!
Thursday we took a 30 minute drive out of Austin and headed to the Salt Lick BBQ

Cors food review: overrated, overpriced, and not worth the drive! He even said he liked his mom's cobbler better! Good job Mar!
That evening we watched the sunset at Mozart's on Lake Austin.

Friday Cor took me to see the dozens of turtles that he runs by every day
That night we used our free movie tickets to see Max... Which I won't even talk about because it was that bad! Worse than a lifetime movie!
Unfortunately, due to our hikes/getting lost and walking on hot pavement.. Brucey had several cuts/burns on his paws and we had to give him lots of rest and love!!

Saturday night we headed to Buffalo Wild Wings to watch UFC 189. It was such a great card with two amazing title fights! Fun time with my babe!
On to our LAST week in Austin.. I can't believe it's gone by so fast!! We are going to pack in the fun this week!!!
