Camping in Sequoia Pt. 1

Cor and I just finished camping for a week in Sequoia National Park.. And we had the best time! In my opinion it may have been one of our very best vacations

We arrived Monday June 30 in the late afternoon and set up camp. We didn't have a lot of neighbors and the campground was pretty empty (thumbs up!)

Here's some pictures of Moro Rock as we were driving up the mountain:

Driving through the pretty forest:

Cor and my dad came last year, but stayed at Lodgepole.. This was their site:

Right as we drove into our site there were two deer in the site across from ours

Here was our site for the week!

I had my own personal lumberjack who chopped all our wood and made sure we always had plenty! He was definitely in his element and so stinkin cute =]

On Tuesday morning we hiked upper Stony Creek

After hiking we went to take a tour of Crystal Cave!

After the cave we went back to camp to eat and relax.. We wanted to get an early start on Wednesday to hopefully get a bear sighting!

Stay tuned for Part 2 =]
