4th of July!

Yesterday was the 4th of July! This holiday is one of my absolute favorites! What other holiday brings people together.. For good food, outdoor activities... It's not about presents.. Just celebrating with each other... I love it

We spent the day at my parents with my sister, BIL, and nieces..Swimming.. BBQ.. Cornhole.. So much fun!

I made these festive chocolate covered strawberries (Brucey was dying for some)

Cor gobbled them allll up and no one else even had a chance to taste!! 

I also made this festive cake =] 

Besides the sweets... I grilled balsamic herb chicken on the grill, grilled these veggies, and baked sliced sweet potato "fries" 

I only took a photo of the veggies (silly me!)

But Cor was super impressed.. He actually said there was nothing he'd rather eat!!!

I've been grilling a lottt because it turns out.. I can't cook.. But I can grill anything!! Haha go figure

Hey Mar bear there is hope for me! Your baby boy has been eating goooood =]
