A very merry FIVE year anniversary with a return home just in time!

Hi y'all! Today is Cor and I's lovely five year anniversary!!! Sheesh!! Five wonderfully happy years with my favorite person has been nothing short of a dream come true! 

Rewind a couple days and Cor finally caught a flight home (a couple days later than I mentioned in my last post) and I feel complete again! He flew into Riverside, so my dad drove him down to San Diego to pick up his truck... Buttttttt he forgot his keys! Woops!!!! So we will be making another trip down there this weekend (hopefully we will get to see Miss Ais and Mr Carson!!!) Again, I'm so happy to have him back home to me!

Last night we went to the Oak Hills second round CIF women's basketball game! It was so much fun and they KILLED it!!!!

Back to today!!!! Since it's a Thursday we will celebrate this weekend, but we've had some good quality time together this evening!

Year 3 in San Diego, CA! This wasn't taken on our anniversary, but it was taken at our roommate at the time's BUDS graduation! (Not sure if we took an anni photo???)

This was taken last year on our anniversary in San Diego, CA! We went out to Hillcrest and had Sangria and Moroccan food! It was a great night! 

I haven't gotten Cor to take a photo with my this year yet, but it will be posted shortly!!

I can't say enough how much I love the relationship Cor and I have! We have come so far and worked so hard to get where we are at! It hasn't always been easy, but it's always been worth it!! (So cliche but it's true!!!!) 

I love you Cor, more today than ever before, but not as much as I will tomorrow!! Hehe =]

Hey Hawaii can I have my man back please?

Cor has now been in Hawaii for a week! There was suppose to be a returning flight today, but it got canceled at the last minute. We just saw that a flight to Miramar is scheduled for tomorrow, so hopefully he will be able to get on that!

I know it's silly, but I am missing him terribly! I guess the not knowing of how long he will be gone has made it tougher! Or maybe I'm just a wimp =] 

But I wanted to post all the pics he's sent me so far!!

In his stocking this year I got him a little flashlight keychain (one highly reviewed of course) and he got to use it! Not bad for a tiny thing!

After a few days of rain he got some sun! So beautiful!

Cor took a class with a bunch of old women so that he could make me a lay.. He is seriously the sweetest, it touched my heart more than he knows and although it may not make it home (due to the canceled flight), it made me feel so so loved. I love you Cor, you are truly amazing! Btw isn't it beautiful? He's talented if you ask me! =] 

He also went into town and saw the Arizona memorial, but didn't take a tour so that when we go back we can go together! Again, he is the sweetest!!

So I hope he gets to come home tomorrow, I cannot wait to hug and kiss my bestie!

He enjoyed his Hawaiian adventure and I'm so glad he got to get away and do this!!!

Now I'm ready for spring break so that we can go on an adventure together!!

Valentine's Day, etc etc

Valentine's Day has come and gone! Although its not one of my favorite holidays, any excuse for some quality time with my love is A ok!

Cor brought yummy chipotle (and a pretty red rose) to my work and had lunch with me, which was the best treat!

Then we headed to Oak Hills High School and watched the basketball game that my friend, Vanessa, coaches! 

It was a good game and fun to people watch the high schoolers of course! =] 

Watched some Netflix together and called it a night! Nice, simple and perfect if you ask me!

Saturday was the little softball team's (that I coach ((Hot Tamales)) first game which was so fun! I love coaching and I'm glad another season has begun!

This team is SOO much fun!!! Notice their heart shaped sunglasses? My idea of course =] they did great and it's going to be a great season!!!

Andddd Cor left for Hawaii today!!!!! Lucky butt gets to fly for freeee on a military airline and he was able to catch a plane to Hawaii this morning!! I'm so excited for him and so jealous!!!

One last thing to mention is something that I have been obsessing over for months!!! I know it's just a material thing, but it does have sentimental value as well! 

My new origami owl locket!!!!! I got an A, C and a paw print for our baby Brucey! I can't wait to add to it! (Hint Hint Cor great idea for upcoming holidays!!!) =]

Hello February!

One month down in 2014! So hello February =] 

January ended without anything extremely eventful or noteworthy.. Basically just A LOT of school work for the both of us!!

February has started off great though! Superbowl Sunday was yesterday and although our wonderful Broncos didn't win, it was so fun to have a Bronco Bowl Finley party! 

This was my pre-game outfit at work training! I was going orange and blue all weekend!!!

Cor even got me these BEAUTIFUL orange roses before the game!!! Might be my favorite ever.. So GORGEOUS!!
